I work with Diamond Baratta Design, who utilize traditional quilts in fantastic, unexpected ways. There is an article in the NY Times about their work with artisans and craftspeople, including me.

This room is soon to become my new studio. Light and spacious, on the top floor of our blue house in progress. We are tiling, painting, making doors, scrubbing rust off the steel staircase. Very close to completion!

Recent commissions for client and friend PW. The ornaments and pillows incorporate orange and purple suede that is meaningful to PW.
This isn’t exactly a quilt, but here’s a peak at our new home in progress. It is unusual to build from scratch in Brooklyn. Owen is leading construction.
This batch of mini journals was a collaboration with designer and bookmaker Judy Lee of five and a half.
In 2006-2007, Erin had the pleasure of working with designer and puppeteer Chris Green on the creation of Noah’s Ark at the Skirball, a permanent gallery installation at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles that features life sized animal sculptures and puppets. She was responsible for many of the fabric elements: elephant skin and tusks, snow leopard tails and paws, a pair of walruses to be used as a sitting area, skins for golden langurs made from Indian brocades, and tails for Japanese red foxes featuring an illustrated folk tale of the fox transforming into a moon, a snake, a plant, and back into a fox.
