My Future Workspace

Fisher Foresi Quilt

Using 42 pairs of boxers, several pants and button down shirts, this quilt was made in memory of the young man who wore the clothes. It will live with his sister in Italy.

Noah’s Ark at the Skirball

In 2006-2007, Erin had the pleasure of working with designer and puppeteer Chris Green on the creation of Noah’s Ark at the Skirball, a permanent gallery installation at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles that features life sized animal sculptures and puppets. She was responsible for many of the fabric elements: elephant skin and tusks, snow leopard tails and paws, a pair of walruses to be used as a sitting area, skins for golden langurs made from Indian brocades, and tails for Japanese red foxes featuring an illustrated folk tale of the fox transforming into a moon, a snake, a plant, and back into a fox.
